Banana Waffle Recipe with No Flour (Baby & Toddler Friendly)

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (you can also opt for a gluten-free option)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup milk (you can also opt for a dairy-free option)
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  • Preheat your waffle iron for a minute or two.
  • In a high-speed blender, add the old-fashioned rolled oats, banana, egg, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and baking powder. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and a smooth batter forms.
  • Lightly grease the waffle iron with avocado oil to prevent sticking.
  • Pour the waffle batter onto the preheated waffle iron. Spread it evenly to cover the surface. Then, close the waffle iron and cook the waffles for approximately 3 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the waffles from the waffle iron and serve warm! You can serve these waffles to your babies or toddlers with your favorite toppings, such as sliced bananas, berries, or a dollop of yogurt.
