Spinach Banana Waffles (Baby & Toddler Friendly)

These spinach banana waffles are perfect for busy mornings and a great way to get some greens into your little one’s diet.

Equipment

  • 1 Vitamix
  • 1 Waffle Iron

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup lightly packed baby spinach about 20g
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat your waffle iron until it’s nice and hot.
  • Combine all your ingredients in the blender and blend until thoroughly mixed.
  • Take your avocado oil and lightly grease the waffle iron to prevent any sticking.
  • Pour the batter onto the waffle iron, spreading it out evenly, then close the lid and let it cook for around 3 minutes.
  • After cooking, remove the waffles from the iron and transfer them onto your plate.
