The 10 Apartment-Friendly Cardio Exercises

Below are the 10 exact exercises used in the workout. Each one is low impact and keeps things quiet while still challenging your body.

You’ll do each movement for 45 seconds and take 15 seconds to rest before moving on.

Warm Up

The warm up is short and helps your body get ready for movement. It slowly raises your heart rate and loosens up your joints so you can move smoothly once the cardio begins.

1. Flying Frog

A full body move with a reach and a forward drive. It wakes up your core and legs.

2. Side Lunge Drive (Right)

Step into a side lunge and drive your knee up. It feels steady and strong.

3. Side Lunge Drive (Left)

Repeat on the left side to stay balanced.

4. Skate and Reach

A smooth side to side motion that lifts your heart rate while staying gentle on your joints.

5. Squat Jack

A squat variation inspired by a jumping jack but without the jump. Your legs will feel this one.

6. Twist and Kick (Right)

A twist through your core paired with a light kick. It keeps things dynamic.

7. Twist and Kick (Left)

Repeat on the other side.

8. Touchdown and Tap

Reach down and tap your foot out to the side. Simple but effective for your legs and glutes.

9. Inchworm Climber

Walk your hands out to a plank and bring your knees in. This works your upper body, core, and cardio all at once.

10. Crab Dance

A fun coordination move that keeps your heart rate up without any jumping.

After all 10 moves, you repeat the circuit for a second round.

Cool Down and Stretch

The workout ends with a stretch to help your heart rate come down. It’s a gentle way to finish the routine and give your muscles a moment to relax.
